Coronavirus (COVID-19) impact on recruitment – update Thursday 2nd April.

HMPPS recruitment has to be safe and we all have a duty to stay at home and away from others, where possible. In line with government policy, we have made a decision to temporarily suspend face to face interviews.

If you have already started your application, we will be in touch with you and keep you up to date on changes to the recruitment process.

For more information, please read our Frequently Asked Questions below. These will be kept up to date with the latest information.

Is the prison service continuing to recruit?

No, we have taken the decision to close all OSG campaigns at present. We are focusing efforts on progressing candidates that have already applied through the interview stages. Campaigns will re-open in the future and we would encourage you to check the website frequently.
